Biography
Jamil Abdur-Rahman, M.D. (a.k.a. Doctor J) was born in Kankakee, Illinois on the 7th of August 1976, the first born of twins. He preceded his twin brother (Dr. Idries Abdur-Rahman) into this world by a “full” seven minutes, and he never lets his “baby” brother forget that. Jamil was raised on the Southside of Chicago in the renown University neighborhood of Hyde Park. Today Doctor J is an avid traveler, a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserves Medical Corp., a dedicated husband and the proud father of a handsome son (Laithe).
